With an artistic experience that spans over thirty years in painting, sculpture and jewelry making, Aida Pray’s works have graced international exhibition stages, from Moscow to Rome, from New York to Tokyo, demonstrating a multifaceted and globally recognized creative vision. In 2020, her passion for photography ignited, a medium that Aida quickly embraced with enthusiasm. Active in several international photography groups, she has found her ideal terrain in fashion photography, where the masterful use of light allows her to develop highly artistic and distinctive ideas. Equipped with a home photography studio, Aida personally takes care of each setup, infusing her images with the desired atmosphere. Her photographs have received recognition and publications in prestigious international magazines, including “Pixel Photo Magazine” and “Weinspire IMAGeNATION Photography Magazine”, and she has participated in important exhibitions such as the one in Jakarta. The growing demand for her services and the undisputed support of her environment confirm her artistic trajectory and push her to constantly explore new creative frontiers.

“Reflections of the Soul”
In the world of Aida Pray, photography is not just an image, but a true “visual painting” that explores the deepest nuances of the soul. With “Reflections of the Soul”, Aida transforms the portrait into a unique artistic journey, born from her decades of experience in painting and sculpture. Each shot of Aida Pray is a work of art curated down to the smallest details. From the inspired research on Pinterest, YouTube and fashion magazines, to the artisanal creation of unique headpieces and suggestive scenography, to the make-up that transforms the face of her models: each element is designed to tell a story. This meticulous process, the result of weeks of work, reveals the ingenuity and passion that animate her creations. The protagonists of her portraits are predominantly women. For Aida, the female face is an extraordinarily rich canvas, capable of embodying dynamic beauty and unique depth. Through their image, the artist explores the capacity for transformation and the expressive power of the human being. Not a mere aesthetic affectation, Aida’s “dark” style gives her works a romantic and dramatic quality, creating an intimate atmosphere that envelops the observer. It is in the skillful play of shadows and directional lights that Aida Pray reveals her mastery, shaping the visual material to evoke intense emotions and touch the most hidden chords of the soul. Her studio, a true domestic laboratory, is the place where this visual alchemy comes to life, giving increasingly engaging and meaningful images.

Ho accettato con grande entusiasmo l’invito a partecipare alla mostra VISIO MENTIS a Catanzaro, che rappresenta la mia prima esperienza in una mostra collettiva. Ho avuto il piacere di conoscere il curatore, Marcello Pitardi, grazie alla pagina Pixel Photo Magazine, e abbiamo instaurato un ottimo rapporto. Marcello è una persona precisa e pragmatica, che lavora con efficacia e determinazione. Inizialmente, temevo che la distanza da Bruxelles e i miei impegni lavorativi avrebbero reso difficile la mia partecipazione, ma tutto si è svolto senza problemi. Purtroppo, non ho potuto essere presente all’evento a causa della distanza e degli impegni, ma sono felice di sapere che la mostra ha avuto un ottimo successo e che le mie foto hanno potuto essere viste da decine di persone, condividendo con loro la mia visione della fotografia.
