Die Kalabrierin lebt mit dem Meer am Horizont und dem Wunsch, die Welt zu entdecken. Ihre Leidenschaft für die Fotografie entstand mit dem Reisen als emotionale Erinnerung an die erlebten Erlebnisse. Als Psychologin arbeitet sie mit Emotionen und findet in der Porträtfotografie „den Anderen“ mit seiner Innerlichkeit, die Normalität eines Lebens, das nicht nur Pose ist. Sie hebt den roten Faden hervor, der alle und alles in der Verschiedenheit von Orten und Kulturen verbindet. Ihre Bilder lassen das Erlebte wieder aufleben und vermitteln die Atmosphäre auch denen, die nicht dabei waren.

Das Projekt
„Hingabe“
Lange Zeit blieb die Reise nach Indien für Francesca Papaianni ein ungeahntes Ziel, wahrgenommen als ein Land, dessen Intensität des Lebens und der Empfindungen eine intensive Vorbereitung, fast eine Initiation, zu erfordern schien. Indien offenbart sich in seiner grenzenlosen Erhabenheit als Schmelztiegel aller oft widersprüchlichen Erscheinungsformen der Existenz, wo jede Sinneswahrnehmung – von ohrenbetäubenden Geräuschen bis hin zu explosiven Aromen und leuchtenden Farben – bis ins Unermessliche gesteigert wird und den Betrachter in einen berauschenden Strudel hüllt. Was die Sensibilität des Künstlers am tiefsten berührte, war die ununterbrochene und dichte menschliche Präsenz, eine Erfahrung, die manchmal chaotisch und sogar bedrückend wirken kann. Und doch entsteht in diesem pulsierenden Wirbelwind ein Moment der Transzendenz, in dem jedes Geräusch verstummt, die Menge sich in einer spürbaren Welle der Spiritualität sammelt und nur die Hingabe zum absoluten Protagonisten wird. Dies sind Momente außergewöhnlicher Kraft und Hingabe. Auf den alten Ghats von Kalkutta und Varanasi, im Morgengrauen, beim Ritual des heiligen Bades im Mutterfluss Ganga, erreichen diese Momente der Meditation ihren Höhepunkt. Hier wird jeder Einzelne zu einer intimen und heiligen Auseinandersetzung mit sich selbst eingeladen, um seine eigene Spiritualität in einer Atmosphäre tiefer und universeller Harmonie wiederzuentdecken. Die Fotografien dieses Projekts kristallisieren genau diese Momente reiner, ungefilterter und intensiver Hingabe.

Quando vedi le tue foto stampate, grandi, luminose, esposte in una mostra internazionale, le senti come se vivessero indipendentemente da te. Non ho parole per descrivere l’emozione di vedere la reazione dei visitatori, il loro apprezzamento. E non posso che ringraziare Marcello Pitardi per aver ritenuto la mia storia degna di essere presente qui. Io spero solo di suscitare un po’ delle emozioni vissute. Il libro della mostra è un valore aggiunto che rende permanente la bellissima sensazione vissuta con l’esposizione! La presenza degli altri autori, la descrizione dei loro progetti, apre finestre di esperienze possibili e territori fotografici da esplorare. Un grande insegnamento collettivo!
I am very happy to be able to participate in the photography exhibition in Tropea – Italy, thank you very much to Marcello who has arranged everything. The exhibition went smoothly, and it was nice to see the videos during the exhibition. Marcello sent me photos of my exhibit to my country Indonesia and I was very happy to see it, as well as the catalogue book and barcodes as well. I hope to be able to participate in another photo exhibition. Thank you for your hard work so this photography exhibition can be done well.
Sono rimasta entusiasta dell’esposizione presso l’Ex Stac di Catanzaro. Devo dire che la disposizione delle foto e la location sono veramente notevoli. E io ho scoperto molti fotografi che fanno cose molto interessanti. Mi dispiace per chi se la perde per ignoranza e senso di superiorità. Grazie a Marcello Pitardi e a tutto il team per l’impegno messo per la buona riuscita dell’evento.

Enjoyed participating in the Visio Mentis photo exhibition. I was impressed by the professionalism of the organization. The location itself, but also the digital environment and the promotional material were of high quality and allure.
The exhibition in March 2025 at Ex Stac in Catanzaro, which was the part of the Visio Mentis project, was an amazing event for me. The whole organizing team did a wonderful professional job in promoting photography as an art and photographers as the personalities. Seeing my own photos exhibited in the beautiful setting and having the opportunity to share my thoughts with other colleagues photographers and the audience was an unforgettable experience for me that I still enjoy for a long time after the exhibition is over. I am proud to have been a part of this project and at the same time it is an inspiration for me to continue searching for my own vizio mentis. Thank you very much for your support.
This exhibition at Ex-Stac in Catanzaro, Italy was a wonderful experience, and I was truly honored to be invited to take part and share my work alongside so many talented artists.
