Joanna Gorczyca
Stalowa Wola – Polen
Joanna Gorczyca, die unter dem Pseudonym „Coś Ci pokażę, coś Ci opowiem“ („Ich zeige dir etwas, ich erzähle dir etwas“) arbeitet, hat die Kunst des Sehens von ihrem Vater geerbt, einem leidenschaftlichen Fotografen, der ihr ein tiefes Verständnis für Licht und seine Kraft vermittelte. Gemeinsam mit ihrem Ehemann reist sie und teilt ihre Blickwinkel auf der Fanpage „Coś Ci pokażę, coś Ci opowiem“.
Für sie ist Licht das schönste Mittel, um Menschen zu beschreiben und ihre dynamische Wahrheit sichtbar zu machen. Besonders fasziniert ist sie vom Alltäglichen, das sie in einfachen, aber bedeutungsvollen Bildkompositionen festzuhalten sucht. Sie fotografiert überwiegend mit ihrem Smartphone, das sie als praktischer empfindet, wobei ihre bevorzugte Ästhetik die Schwarzweißfotografie ist. Sie ist überzeugt, dass sich das Verständnis vertieft, wenn Farben die Wahrnehmung nicht vereinnahmen, und so eine intimere Auseinandersetzung mit dem Betrachteten möglich wird.
Von Beruf ist sie Förderlehrerin – eine Tätigkeit, die sie gelehrt hat, Menschen mit noch größerer Sensibilität und Aufmerksamkeit zu begegnen. Diese Qualitäten spiegeln sich in jeder ihrer Aufnahmen wider.

The Project
„Kindheit in Monochromie“
Diese Serie von Kinderporträts war kein geplantes Vorhaben. Vielmehr handelt es sich um eine Art Essenz, die sich durch Fotografien offenbarte, die während der Reisen entstanden.
Am Rand von Hell’s Kitchen gibt es immer Kinder, die sich in Gruppen versammeln, um auf mit Stöcken in den Sand gezeichneten Spielfeldern zu spielen. Ihr Lachen hallt von den Wänden der Schlucht wider und wird verstärkt. Es scheint, als würde die ganze Welt mit ihnen lachen.
Ich konnte nicht an ihrem Spiel teilnehmen; ich hatte Verpflichtungen und schließlich ist die Familie das Wichtigste. Diese Porträtserie lässt mich erkennen, dass Kinder – ungeachtet der Verschiedenheit der Umgebungen – überall gleich sind: ehrlich, spontan und unverstellt. Das Spiegelbild der Welt in den Augen der Kinder ist ihr wahres Gesicht: Ob ein lächelnder Blick oder ein trauriger Ausdruck – man kann sicher sein, der Wahrheit zu begegnen.

Aver avuto la possibilità di confrontarmi con artisti di caratura internazionale è stato uno dei momenti più significatativi della mia esperienza fotografica. La mostra dal respiro internazionale, ha raccolto le opere di 27 artisti Italiani ed esteri portando nello spazio espositivo di Palazzo ex-Stac un caleidoscopio di emozioni. Quello che mi ha colpito profondamente è stato il livello veramente alto delle opre in mostra. Ciascun artista ha sicuramente onorato la propria presenza e Marcello è stato impeccabile nell’organizzazione. Mi auguro che mostre di questo livello possano essere sempre più frequenti e che il pubblico possa apprezzarle sempre di più.
Enjoyed participating in the Visio Mentis photo exhibition. I was impressed by the professionalism of the organization. The location itself, but also the digital environment and the promotional material were of high quality and allure.
The exhibition in March 2025 at Ex Stac in Catanzaro, which was the part of the Visio Mentis project, was an amazing event for me. The whole organizing team did a wonderful professional job in promoting photography as an art and photographers as the personalities. Seeing my own photos exhibited in the beautiful setting and having the opportunity to share my thoughts with other colleagues photographers and the audience was an unforgettable experience for me that I still enjoy for a long time after the exhibition is over. I am proud to have been a part of this project and at the same time it is an inspiration for me to continue searching for my own vizio mentis. Thank you very much for your support.
I am very happy to be able to participate in the photography exhibition in Tropea – Italy, thank you very much to Marcello who has arranged everything. The exhibition went smoothly, and it was nice to see the videos during the exhibition. Marcello sent me photos of my exhibit to my country Indonesia and I was very happy to see it, as well as the catalogue book and barcodes as well. I hope to be able to participate in another photo exhibition. Thank you for your hard work so this photography exhibition can be done well.

This exhibition at Ex-Stac in Catanzaro, Italy was a wonderful experience, and I was truly honored to be invited to take part and share my work alongside so many talented artists. The show brings together a diverse range of photographic styles, making it a rich and inspiring collection. A huge thanks to Marcello Pitardi for the fantastic job he did organizing the exhibition—his vision and dedication brought everything together beautifully.
Ho accettato con grande entusiasmo l’invito a partecipare alla mostra VISIO MENTIS a Catanzaro, che rappresenta la mia prima esperienza in una mostra collettiva. Ho avuto il piacere di conoscere il curatore, Marcello Pitardi, grazie alla pagina Pixel Photo Magazine, e abbiamo instaurato un ottimo rapporto. Marcello è una persona precisa e pragmatica, che lavora con efficacia e determinazione. Inizialmente, temevo che la distanza da Bruxelles e i miei impegni lavorativi avrebbero reso difficile la mia partecipazione, ma tutto si è svolto senza problemi. Purtroppo, non ho potuto essere presente all’evento a causa della distanza e degli impegni, ma sono felice di sapere che la mostra ha avuto un ottimo successo e che le mie foto hanno potuto essere viste da decine di persone, condividendo con loro la mia visione della fotografia.
Un evento importante organizzato in maniera eccellente,professionale in una bellissima location. Grande impegno e aiuto da parte di Marcello. Felicissima di aver partecipato
