Visio Mentis 2026 – Photography as a Form of Thought

Starting March 19, 2026, the Visio Mentis – International Photographic Exhibition returns, reaffirming itself as a living dialogue between cultures, places, and minds.
Year after year, Visio Mentis has transformed photography into a language of connection — a space where vision becomes reflection and the image becomes thought.

Curated by Marcello Pitardi, in collaboration with Pixel Photo Magazine, the 2026 edition marks a new step in the evolution of the project: a laboratory of vision where mind meets light, and emotion takes shape in silence.

This year, Visio Mentis brings together photographers from across the world, united by a common pursuit — to reveal the invisible essence of reality through the silent power of the gaze.
It is not a simple collection of images, but a geography of the soul, where each author intertwines personal sensitivity with collective memory.

The works on display speak of what escapes time and words — that moment when light turns into emotion, and reality becomes symbol.
It is a meditation on presence and absence, on photography’s ability to unite and reconcile differences while restoring dignity to the mystery of being human.
